In my last post, I encouraged job seekers to use Linkedin recommendations to supercharge their job search and maximize their profile exposure. The first recommendation to request a recommendation, would be to choose someone you respect or admire, ideally in your designated field.
A supplementary way of using a recommendation to make your profile more visible and more appealing to potential employers is the BranchOut application, (www.BranchOut.com). One job seeker recently beat the odds by using BranchOut, and not only landed a job, but received a 45% salary increase. (To read the post about this job seeker's success, go to tinyurl.com3v54558).
Remember, you'll always get the same results if you always do things the same way. Stand apart from the competition. Get noticed. Trump up your job search efforts. Best of luck!
